PRAYER SHAWL TEAM
We usually meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:00am down in the basement classroom close to the outside door. Anyone is welcome to come and make shawls. We have yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and can assist learners.
The shawls are made to give comfort to anyone in need. When completed, they are prayed over by the Prayer Shawl Committee and/or Pastor Mike.
In 2025, we started making the shawls available in gift bags in the Narthex of the church sanctuary and at the parking lot entrance on a table in the Breezeway. The number of prayer shawls given out to people greatly increased due to the availability. We hope to continue blessing those who need comforted.
